Abu Dhabi Based Photographer Raise Awareness For Bone Marrow Donors

Just a month ago, i participated in a project to help raising awareness for bone marrow donors. I decided to repost this at my current new blog. Hope you guys can help sharing this wfter you finish reading my post. Thanks.
Dubai, a city-state in the United Arab Emirates with the world’s tallest building and seven stars hotel building on it, because of these massive architecture and design, my brother (ChengYang) and I decided to stop by this country.
While preparing for our first visit, i was searching for useful information and things to do in Dubai on the web, something attracted me. An article in TimeOutDubai about The Untitled Chair Project really attracted my eyeballs. It’s a project to raise awareness about the dire need for bone marrow donors. My friends and I decided to take part in this project and I emailed Sean Blake, the photographer, and he agreed to let us join in no time. So, we arranged the meet up on 11 March for photo shooting session in Dubai.
On the first day 10 March at Dubai, we visited Burj Al Arab, The Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis The Palm and Burj Khalifa as a tourist. The next day early morning, we finally get to meet Sean and the Red Chair in person. He’s very kindhearted and friendly person, he drove  about 2 hours car distance from Abu Dhabi to Dubai and pick us up in the hotel at 10am sharp. He arrived punctually. After a small discussion, we decided to move around in town area as all of us were not familiar with Dubai. We stop by the private beach at Jumeirah after a half an hour tour, we found out that beach is a better place for us to start shooting.

With the chair and model ready, it’s time to start our photo shooting session. Cheng Yang started his first time modelling session by not looking toward the camera.

Most of my life is to shoot photo in Digital format, i can keep shooting until i get the result that i wanted. However, polaroid is way different, every shutter you click, it come out almost instantly. Every photos you make from the polaroid camera are masterpiece because you cannot edit and it’s final. Luckily i was the one who being a model not a cameraman this time. I get to know about what Polaroid is for the first time.

After 10 shots at the beach, we move toward the next destination. With the photographer’s eyes, Sean spotted the square bush which will make the photo look great in the symmetrical way.
